The Widget Monkeys are retired.

We had a great run. More than 1.2 million Dashboard widget downloads from Apple's site. That's a really big number ... 1,200,000. Wow. We once held three of the top ten spots on the Dashboard widget downloads page in the same week, and were picked at twice as staff favourites.

We were always amazed that such a fun, little, playful idea could generate so much interest and happiness. Thank you to everyone who gave us that opportunity.
