So we were wandering around the savannah the other day eating bananas, taking a break from driving a forklift around a dusty and still poorly lit warehouse (where we're figuring out how to get crates of bananas off a conveyor belt[??]), when we stumble across this friendly little guy just having a drink at the local watering hole. Well, not so little, really. Really quite thin and remarkably agile for his height but, at least to us monkeys, very, very, very tall. So we figured that we'd use him as a new addition to the very popular WidgetMonkey widget family. So without further ado, us monkeys are really happy to announce the release of WidgetGiraffe, the latest in our fun ragdoll widget toys. The two bananas who inhabit this little part of the web are thrilled to have completed our latest widget called Banana Warehouse! You're going to love this one! The goal is to move all of the yellow crates of bananas into the yellow area of the warehouse, and all the green crates of bananas to the green area using a forklift within the time limit (a generous 75 seconds we might add). Be careful not to block yourself in wheeling the crates around, but if you do, the spacebar will reset everything back to their original position ... except the timer! The monkeys who run this place are really happy to announce that we've released our second fun little widget called Monkey Marbles! In Monkey Marbles the goal is to tilt the platform and get all of the marbles firmly settled into the holes. We are not responsible for any, err, frustration this task might cause. Not only did we post our first Unity-made, fully 3D widget on Apple's site, but after more than 20,000 downloads it had made it to the 23rd spot out of the 800 widgets at the time, and the 4th ranked game widget! We were thrilled! If you don't know what it's about, WidgetMonkey is a fun ragdoll monkey toy. You can click (and hold) the yellow button (or use the spacebar) to make it go limp. Or shake the window to make the monkey go wild. Aside from being a lot of fun, you will notice yourself wasting a lot of time playing around with it. The latest version (2.0.1) features a new background, optimizations, a 15% smaller file size, and greatly improved lighting.
